PROEXCA offers Canary Islands business leaders its Simultaneous Telephone Translation Service (ASITEL) at the telephone number 902 490 990, which allows them to maintain conversations with foreign entities, suppliers or customers without language barriers.
PROEXCA finances 50% of this service (up to a limit of 1,000 euros per company, per year; in other words, some 800 minutes) with which Canary Islands companies may communicate in more than 30 languages*.
To access this service, users must provide the nature of the service desired: language, telephone number, company name, contact person and any other details that may be of interest.
Once contact is established, the three-way calling system will begin and the interpreter will go about consecutively translating to both interlocutors.

*The service in English, French or German is offered immediately every day from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except on national holidays. The remaining 27 available languages (Arabic, Belorussian, Czech, Chinese, Finnish, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian…) must be pre-requested (at least 24 hours in advance).

Export Credit Insurance PROEXCA finances 75% of the set up insurance
costs in collaboration with LA CAIXA and COFACE to guarantee payment for
the sale of products and services to foreign customers. The service
also provides Canary Islands export companies with detailed information
on the economic reality of other countries as well as the financial
situation of their international buyers.
